New Moon New You New Year’s Day 2014
New Moons have long been considered potent times for planting the hopeful seeds for fresh new beginnings and this powerful New Moon in Capricorn on New Year’s Day is intense to say the least involving stressed connections between the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Uranus and Pluto.
January 1st the Sun and Moon came together creating the New Moon at 10’ Capricorn and the last time this happened was back on Jan 1st 1995. So if you can recall, take yourself back to that time around 1995. Ask yourself, what was happening in your life at that time? If what is happening in your life now is like déjà vu, and you feel like you are reliving the past, well this New Moon offers us the possibility of resolving and potentially healing some of the unfinished business from around this time in 1995.
The few days around New Moons are always fertile and potent and well-timed for reflective ‘mindfulness’ and empowering ‘affirmations’. As now with the intense planetary alignment (Grand Cross) above of Uranus, Pluto, Mars and Jupiter we are being stirred, indeed shaken into taking action (Mars) to transform (Pluto) our thinking (Mercury) based on absolute truth (Uranus) so that we may renew (New Moon/Pluto) and strive for a higher consciousness (Jupiter).
Happy Happy New Year to All-
